Place the walnuts on a baking sheet and place in the oven on broil for 5 minutes.
Clean the green beans and snap off the ends.
Place the beans in a large pot of boiling water and cook them for 7 minutes. Do not overcook!
Take the beans from the water and place them immediately into a bowl of ice water. This little trick keeps the beans vibrant with colour!
Remove from the ice water, dry the beans in a clean towel or paper towel, and put them in a large bowl.
Assemble the salad! Add the walnuts, red onion, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, and green pepper.
Add the dressing and stir.
Crumble feta on top and serve!
Notes
To make the dressing:
Add olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic, oregano, salt, pepper, and dried chilli flakes to a bullet, blender, or food processor, and blend for 15-20 seconds. Make sure the garlic is blended well and add it to the salad.
