Start by preparing the pineapple, maple walnuts, and strawberries.
Empty the can of pineapple into a bowl and set aside.
Pour the walnuts into a medium sized bowl and mix with the maple syrup. Stir to combine them and set them aside.
In another medium bowl, add the white sugar to the quartered strawberries and stir continuously until the sugar liquifies. If you want more of a puree consistency, use a pastry cutter and mash the strawberries thoroughly until you get the desired consistency. Set aside.
Peel the bananas and slice lengthwise and then cut them in halves (you should have eight pieces total).
Place two pieces of banana in a ramekin or bowl of your choice and place 1-2 scoops of ice cream in the middle.
Add the toppings you desire and finish off with chocolate sauce, a dollop of whipped cream, and a maraschino cherry.
