Pita Pizza


Pita Pizza

  • 1 package of plain pita or naan
  • 1 can plain tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • Sliced deli meat of your choice
  • Sliced vegetables of your choice
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese


  • Preheat oven to 400 F.
  • On a large baking sheet, place as many pitas that will fit and set aside.
  • Pour the tomato sauce into a bowl and add the olive oil, salt, dried oregano, and black pepper. Taste the sauce and add more of any of those seasonings if you desire.
  • Shred the mozzarella and slice your desired toppings.
  • Assemble the pizzas by spreading the sauce over the pizza with the back of a spoon. 
  • Add your desired toppings and top with approximately one cup of shredded cheese, but don’t let us tell you what to do! Add as much or as little cheese as you would like.
  • Once the pizzas are finished being assembled, put them in the oven on the middle rack and bake for 8-10 minutes or until the cheese starts to get golden brown.
  • Enjoy!
